1.  Richard Jones has her married to George Brown ?

1.  It appears that this daughter had already died at the time of her father's will dated 18 Aug 1748 since only George Brown with his four sons were mentioned in the will.

John JONES "Sr"

1.   John was baptized in the Welsh Tract Baptist Church on 4 Dec 1736 and was dismissed to go to Pee Dee in South Carolina by a letter March 11, 1738.


Ann PHILLIPS

1.  Ann was baptized in the Welsh Tract Baptist Church 3 Sep 1737 was dismissed to go to Pee Dee in South Carolina by a letter March 11, 1738.

2.  It is not proven that her maiden name was Phillips, as James, is a strong possiblity...The John Connections p. 224


Esther JONES

1.  Received 10 pounds per David Jones' Will (Will Book G. pp. 187,8,9 dated 8th Aug 1748


Capt. Joseph JONES

1.  During the Revolutionary War one of the notorious Tory Captains was Capt. l Joseph Jones, a surveyor.  He led the raiders when Col. Kolb was killed. .

2.  He had a land grant on Little River in 1752, probably the river running into Geater Pee Dee,


James JONES "I"

1.  James was a farmer in White Clay Creek Hubdred, Delaware & lived 2,5 miles from his church cemetery

2.  Will was dated 19 Jan 1773 and probate proved 7 Jun 1786.

3.  Richard Jones sent information from Early Church Records of New Castle County, Delawar, Vol. 1, 1701-1800, page 96,  stating actual death was 26 May 1786...also used last name of John instead of James

2.  Alternate date of death 26 May 1786
