Thomas HOLLINGSWORTH "III"

1.  Thomas was a farmer and legally holding part of Cronlusk in 1765.


John HOLLINGSWORTH "Sr"

1.  John was a farmer and road contractor.  

2.  He had an expired lease in 1832 and it seems it was not renewable.  John moved to Big Rock.

3.  Family tradition says he was ejected for hiding a Catholic under the bed!

4.  One of his 9 sons was said to have married a Roman Catholic girl and records seem to support this story.

5.  In 1828 the family still resided at Springfirld which oins Cronelusk.  

6.  By 1845 John's son William had removed to the townland of Pollaphuca and by 1850 had been estabvlished at Big Rock, at the home of his son Edward.


Michael HOLLINGSWORTH

Michael came to New York on the ship "Alice Wilson", arriving 4 Aug 1851.


Elizabeth "Bessie" HEMPENSTALL

1.  Elizabeth was cousin to Margaret, daughter of George Hempenstall and Catherine Holingsworth.


Catherine HOLLINGSWORTH

1.  It is believed that Caherine emigrated to Canada....nothing else known.


William HOLLINGSWORTH "Jr"

1.  William died unmaried, "A simple boy".


Mary Ann HOLLINGSWORTH

1.  Arrived in Sydney in 1849 on the Mary Bannatyne as an assisted-passage immigrant;  she came on her own at the age of 19, her occupation is stated as "Housemaid"


Thomas HENDERSON "Sr"

1.  Thomas died a farmer.
