Jesse Franklin MORTON

1.  Dawes Roll # 26308

2.  Poem by Jesse:  THIS IS MY LIFE IN A NUTSHELL

When I was a little boy out playing alone,
I often dreamed of a Family and a home all my own.
Soon the years rolled by,  my youth was gone,
I married a loving wife and had a family and a home of my own.
We had five loving childreen..only raised four to e grown,m
One left us early to be with God on His Throne.
The other four grew up...the next thing we knew they were gone,
All married off and had a family of their own.
Now it's kind of sad and lonesome since our children are gone.
Me and my wife just sit here alone
...last night I was praying for all I had done wrong,
I suddenly realized that we were not alone,
For God had been with us from the day we were born,
And will still be with us even after we are gone.
