Morris ROBERTS "I"

1.  Alternate date of birth:  1664.

2.   It is speculation that Morris was from Wales.

3.  This information is not proven!

4.  A record of Oct 1697 shows that a Morris Roberts, having attended one day as an evidence in behalf of Francis Reeves in his complaint against Thomas Powell, order is granted for 40 pounds of Tobacco according to law to be paid.  {Henrico County, Virginia - Order Book 1694 -1701}


Joshua STEPP "Sr"

2.  The administrator of the Will was Anne Step/Stap.


Joshua STEPP "Jr"

1.  A "post" from W. Stepp dated 12 Jun 2001 reveals that he decends from these two (2) Joshuas.

2.  Bill Stepp of Virginia Beach reports that he is a direct descendant of Joshua though his son Joshua and his Y DNA test links him to the Stapp family of the River Humber area of Lincolnshire in England.   They lived there since at least the 1500's.
