1.  Lt. Henry Hayes was a soldier of the Revolution...wounded @ "The Cowpens" battle.


Mary CLARK

1.  Mary Clark was own Cousin to General John Winfield Scott, U.S.A.


Elisha HAYES

1.  Elisha drowned in early manhood


Sarah HAYES

1.  Sarah was unmarried at time of her father's death.


Mary HAYES

Joseph T. HAYES

1.  Joseph was unmarried


Mary WHITE

1.  Mary must have married a second time to a Mr. Rakestraw.

2.  Mary Rakestraw died in Lowndes County, Alabama in 1831.  She probably lived with Patrick W. Hayes at the time.  In the Census of 1830 in Lowndes County, Alabama, the household of Patrick W. Hayes has a female, 80-90 years of age;  Mary would have been in that range in 1830.


John WHITE "Sr"

1.  John White was a community leader in Charlotte when it became a county in 1764.

2.  He was a Justice and later Sheriff of the county.
