Jo Ann TOLLISON

1.  A Tribute:  Fullingim Laughter
             By Mrs. Jo Ann Fullingim

My inlaws, Edgar James and Julia Fullingim were two of the dearest people I have ever known.  When J. B. and I were married, they welcomed me into their home and hearts as if I had alsways been one of them.  Their children were very close and had the most infectious laughter;  all the boys sounded a lot alike, and whenever they were together the laughter never stopped.  Regardless of how you might feel, after being around them you just couldn't help feeling better, and you woud catch yourself laughing also.  Their daughter, Mintha, doesn't have quite the same sound of laughter, but she was always there laughing with them.  There is only one son of the five left today, Lloyd, and whenever I hear him laugh, it tugs at my heart strings, bringing back many precious memoris of all of them, especially my beloved, J. B.  I miss them all very, very much.     (Written May 14, 1993)
