1.  Dorothy was raised by her Uncle Perry Madison Owens, Sr. and Annie Boss from age 6 months when her mother "Mollie" died.


William Thomas JONES

1.  Sources of Information:  17 Dec 1850 Census, Grayson County, Texas.

2.  The middle initial "G" is used also.

3.   This William G. is most likely the same person as William T.

1.  Joseph was born in Robertson Colony, Texas, which is now Grayson County...

2.  Joseph was a Civil War Veteran who enlisted in Co. "K" 22 Texas Cavalry, Indian Reg't, Merrick's, Taylor's, Stevan's.

3.  Robert (Dick) Jones could have been the son who was killed along with Enoch & 2 negros by Indians, except for No. 4 below stating that Dick never married.

4.  According to Affidavit of Margaret Tolson on 22 Jul 1893, Dick never married and died prior to the death of his mother.
