1.  Benjamin made WILL dated 28 Feb 1769.


Capt. William JARED

1.  The Supplement to the Book of Jared reports that he was possibly born in Bucks County, Pennsylvania....Ancestry.com reports Kingswood, Hunterden, NJ.

2.  The William Jared Bible is owned by Martha Ann Sanders of Buffalo Valley, Tennessee, so we have his own account of the births, deaths, and marriages of his children.


Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" RAULSTON

1.  Alternate place of birth:  Bedford, Bedford, Viginia

2.  Alternate place of death:  Cookeville, Putnam, Tennessee


Mathew Raulston JARED

1.  Mathew never married.


Joseph Jackson JARED

1.  Alternate place of birth given by Supplement of the Book Of Jared;  Bucks County, Pannsylvania or possibly Kingswood, Hunterdon County, New Jersey.   

2.  Joseph was a veteran of the American Revolution.  He enlisted on 12 Oct 1779, in Laudoun County, Virginia at Lacey's Tavern - On Bulskin Creek - in the service of the United States as a volunteer.

3.  Joseph took up residence in Jackson County, Tennessee, about 1810


Rachel JARED

1.  Some writer said she moved to California??? Not if she died in 1920


Parmelia JARED

1.  Parmelia never married


Charles CHAMBLIN

1.  The will of Charles Chamblin, dated 20 May 1840, found in the same Court House, at Loudoun County, Virginia, mentions his wife, Ruth, and several of the same children as well as a special paragraph which reads:  "To MASON CHAMBLIN, C son in law Thomas Rogrs, a tract of land in the town of Belmont County, Ohio, 67 acres, in trust for my daughter Harriet Atwell and her children.  ("Her husband, William ATWELL to have no control".)


Ruth JARED

1.  By her will she divided her estate into eight equal parts for 1) "The Children of my deceased son, John Chambline, My sons, 2) Mason 3) Burr P, 4) Jared , 5) James H. Chamblin.  Duaghters: 6) Rachel Nichols, 7) Elmina Rogers,  "Each one part.  The remaining eighth to Jared Chamblin for the use and benefit of daughter Harriet Atwell, free from control and claims of her husband, William Atwell".
