William Clay - Clift "Buck" KUYKENDALL

1.  William Clift (Clay) Kuykendall was educated in the common schools of Union County, and in 1850 he went to Mississippi and took charge of his Uncle Jacob Kuykendall's plantation and negroes for two years.  

2.  He was then overseer of different plantations in Louisiana until the breaking out of the war when he immediately enlisted in a Louisiana Regiment....afterward he was transferred to the First Kentucky Cavalry.  

3.  William Clift Kuykendall was killed during the Civil War in the Battle of Corinth.


Rev. Aaron HEATHERLY

1.  Aaron J. Heatherly was in the 64th NC Infantry "B”.

1.  Rev. Aaron Heatherly was a Baptist Preacher.


Squire HEATHERLY

1.  Squire Heatherly was in the 64th Regiment, NC Infantry "B".
