Elijah WHITE

1.  Reared an honored family per Fannie Tee Baron Bailey.

2.   In 1850 they lived near widow (Sarah Jones & Uriah McKinney).  Also near Charlotte Daughert, mother of Charles Goodnight.

3.   Elijah was a charter member of the Masonic Lodge No. 397, AF & AM.


Robert C. WHITE

1.  Information from History of Texas...Page 629.  

2.  Robert moved with his father from Virginia to Perry County, Tennessee.   He moved from there to Texas in 1837.

3.  1839 Land Grant in Montgomery, County.

4.  He lived in Walker County for a while and some time before 1850 moved to Leon County.


Armstead ROGERS "III"

1.  Armstead came to Texas in 1836...

2.  He was a hunter for Republic of Texas Army Outpost at Castroville, West of San Antonio...

3.  He was in and around Washington County and Madison County...

4.  He was a Mason.


Mary "Polly" JONES

1.  Polly was the mother of 14 children...

2.  She lived 64 years, 4 months, and 7 days, and at the time of her death she had 134 grandchildren and 27 great grandchildren.


Margaret "Maggie" ROGERS

1.  Maggie was never married.


Armstead ROGERS "III"

1.  Armstead came to Texas in 1836...

2.  He was a hunter for Republic of Texas Army Outpost at Castroville, West of San Antonio...

3.  He was in and around Washington County and Madison County...

4.  He was a Mason.


Thomas Jefferson STIDHAM

1.  Thomas was about 12th a very large family.

2.  Thomas was reared in his native State of Georgia and came to Texas in 1853.  He was engaged in farming until the opening of the war, when he entered the Confederate Army, enlisting in Captain Hillary Ryan's company, Co. "D" 17th Regiment, TVI, Col. R. T. P. Allen's Regiment.  (Mustered in January 30, 1862)

3.  Thomas never returned to his wife and four kids from Civil War.  From History of Texas...page 388.

1.  Margaret died at age (7)

1.  Clinton Lewis M. Ethridge was killed in Civil War.
