1.  Joseph was ordained on 24 Sep 1838, and Minister at Mills River Baptist Church.  (Betty Kuykendall Price Article) (321)

2.  Some researchers say that Joseph is buried at Fortune Cemetary with some of his wives (at least Hannah Capps), while others say in Georgia.  There is no tombstone that  has been found anywhere.

3.  Joseph was the son of Jacob and Nancy (Thomas) Kuykendall (brother of Easter's father).

5.  In 1840 he is counted on the Henderson County, North Carolina Census and remained there until his death, when the County Court minutes last mention him in 1896.

14.  Joseph died in the old County Home, Henderson, North Carolina in poverty.

15.  Court Minutes Docket of Henderson County, North Carolina dated 6 Feb 1882, Mrs. Elizabeth King was allowed three (3) dollars for maintaing Joseph, a pauper, the month of January 1882.  Ordered that Joseph be secured at the Poor House of County as a pauper.

16.  May 04, 1884, ordered by the Board that Joseph be and is hereby dropped from the pauper list.

1.  Ruth died 16 Mar 1840 birthing TWINS, one of which died in childbirth.

1.  It is possible that Tracy & Stacy were TWINS...it seems to run in the family...

Sarah SMITH

1.  Sarah was a widow and married 3 Nov 1844 to James Henderson and sued for divoirce 8 Dec 1846 and it was finalized 5 Jan 1847.  She apparently resumed her fomer married name of Kuykendall.

2.  Sarah is found in the 1880 Cooke County, Texas, Census as mother of Burt Henderson.
