1.  Alternate date of marriage for Enoch & Joanna:  23 Dec 1725...

2   Alternate date of death Aug 1752.

3.  Enoch inherited his father's plantation in Birmingham at age 21...

4.  He was disowned by minut 4 Mar 1748/1749.


Elizabeth "Betty" CHADS

1.  "Betty" was a widow at time of her marriage to Enoch...

2.  Reported to have died in Family Relationships that are not proven, but, it appears she and her first husband died on the same date.


John HOLLINGSWORTH

1.  Bobby R. Huggins book gives alternate date of marriage was 1 Mar 1731/1732.

2.  He was still living 30 Aug 1748 , date of his father's will.


Samuel Harlan HOLLINGSWORTH "Sr"

1.  Bobby R. Huggins book reports Samuel's year of birth was 1707, and his death as 11 Nov 1751, Birmingham Twp., Chester, Pennsylvania.

2.  Sadie Greening Sparks reports he was born about 1717.

3.  Samuel lived in Burke County, North Carolina, and in Franklin County, Georgia, during his life.

4.  Sadie Greening Sparks reports Samuel & Barbara were married 13 Nov 1738.  She took that from Newark Kennet Monthly Meeting- Hinshaw P 322.

5.  Will of Samuel Hollingsworth, Birmingham, Chester Co., Pa (C-321) dated 2 Oct 1751...Proved 11 Nov 1751:
Estate to be equally divided between wife and two (2) childrfen, Viz:  Samuel & Jacob Hollingsworth, when they attain age of 21 yrs.  Sons to be apprenticed to Brother In Law Henry Green to learn trade of carpentry.
                                                    Executors:  Bro. Enoch Hollingsworth
                                                    Witnesses:  William Smith, John Hollingsworth


Barbara SHEWIN

1.  Alternate spelling of surname: Sherwin

2.  First Communion (1675) [Probably wrong since she was born in 1715] was in Old Swedes Church and was called Wiccaco in Chester, Pennsylvania.

3.  Barbara married a second time to Philip Philips, who was a Baptist, and they removed to Baltimore County, Maryland about 1764, for which she was disowned by Quakers 5 Jul 1759.


Henry GREEN

1.  Henry Greene and his sons Joshua and Jesse Greene were members of the friends Newart Meeting.  

2.  Henry was disowned 11 Mar 1762 for not taking his friends advice to put out a woman (?).


Elizabeth "Betty" HOLLINGSWORTH

1.  Bobby R. Huggins reports the marriage date was 2 Jan 1733/1734.

2.  hollygardens.com gives 1 Nov 1734 at Kennett MM, Chester, Pennsylvania.

1.  Rachel was disowned by Kennett Meeting 1 Apr 1738

Valentine HOLLINGSWORTH "III"

1.  Alternate place of marriage:   Chester County, Pennsylvania.

2.  Valentine was disowned 8 Mar 1743.  He may have been reinstated for he was called "one of the People called Quakers" as of Court 2 Jul 1754 in the probate of the estate of his wife's brother Samuel Harlan, whose will he had witnessed.

3.  It is probable that he died in South Carolina, but, has been reported Bef Aug 1766, , Orange, North Carolina, however his wife Elizabeth Harlan died in the Union District of South Carolina two years later..


Elizabeth HARLAN

1.  Elizabeth was disowned 4 Jun 1743.  She sent a paper (minute 1 Jun 1754) N.S. to Kennett Meeting acknowledging her fault and was subsequently reinstated.


Thomas THOMPSON

1.  The whole family sailed on ship Mary out of Dublin, Ireland, with John Wall, Master...

2.  They arrived in Elsingurg, West New Jersey, 22 Dec 1677...
