The minutes of Hopewell MM, Frederick Co., VA, seems to indicate that this
couple had at least two other sons: Samuel & Joseph...
Hinshaw, Vol, VI, p. 428, Hopewell MM, VA, mentions "Samuel son of Isaac"
obtaining a certificate of Baltimore in 1808, and in Vol. VI, p. 602, Crooked
Run MM, mentions Joseph, "son of Isaac & Mary", who married Susannah Brown.
The fact that Isaac and Mary were married in 1769, while one of the only two
daughters listed was born in 1784, indicates that considerable other child
bearing may have occurred in the intervening years!
