1.  She was living with her son Silas in Marion County, Alabama in 1880 per Census.

1.  The name is also listed as Queen Anna, Queensada, Quensaid, and just Queen.


Brig. General Halley Gray MADDOX

1,  Brig. General Halley G. Maddox served under Patton during WWII as his G-3.

2.  He moved to San Marcos, where he retired from the military.  He was recruited to San Marcos by Bill Crook who was President Johnson's ambassador to Australia, and the first national director of Johnson's Vista jobs program. to become headmaster of the San Marcos Academy, a military school for young boys (now co-ed).
