Gregory Charles SUTTON

OBITUARY

    Pleas William Sutton, 75,retired Schlumberger Well Services operator, passed away peacefully Monday, April 18, 2005, after a long fight with cancer.
    Service 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Southwest Baptist Church, Wichita.
    Survivors:  Jonavee (Matthiesen), his wife of 57 years;  his children and sons-in-law, Andra & Larry McCanless, Sharon & Charlie Stevens, all of Derby, Johnny and Steve Sutton, both of Wichita;  brother, Don Sutton of Ada, OK; 8 grandchildren;  3 great-grandchildren.
    He was preceded in death by one son, Gregory, in 1974.
    A memorial is established with Southwest Baptist Church.  Smith Mortuary.

OBITUARY - - DONALD SUTTON

    ADA -  Graveside services for Donald Edward Stutton, 75, Ada, are 10;00 a.m. Wednesday at Rosedale Cemetery, the Rev. Frank Trent will officiate.
    Mr. Sutton died Sunday, Sept. 14, 2008, at a local nursing home.  He was born Nov. 17, 1932, at Bebee to Please W. and Myrtle May Kirby Sutton.
    He lived in this area all his life and graduated from Ada High School.  He attended East Central University.
    Mr. Sutton was a Disabled American Veteran and affiliated witht he Pentecostal Holiness Church.  He served in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict, earning the National Defense Service Medal, the Korean Service Medal, and the United Nations Service Medal.
    He married Mary Lou Neal Sutton on April 19, 1971, in Ada.  She preceded him in death on Aug. 27, 1984, in Ada.
    Survivors include a son, Lyndon Sutton and wife Pat, Ada;  a daugter, Susan May and husband Rick, Ada;  four gransons;  four great grandchildren;  and three uncles, Johnny Kirby and wife Peggy, Ada, Jim Kirby and wife Joy, Rockwall, Texas, and J. O. Kirby and wife Bea, Ada.
    He was preceded in death by a son, Brandon Scott Sutton, a brother, Please Sutton Jr., and his parents.

Otha Dean "Pug" GARRETT

OBITUARY -- PUG GARRETT

    ADA -- Services for O. D. "Pug" Garrett, 8, Ada, are 2:00 p.m. Monday at Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church, the Revs. James Feltner and Glen Eaves will officiate.  Burial will follow at Maxwell Cemetery.
    Mr. Garret died Friday, Oct. 31, 2008, at a local hospital.  He was born Oct 15, 1923, at Center to John Pluto and Rae Lanham Garrett.
    He attended Center and Vanoos schools.
    Mr. Garrett retired from the Coal Oil & Gas Company where he worked as an oil production superintendent and after retirement he farmed.
    He was a member of the Oil Center Pentecostal Holiness Church.
     He married Thelm Jean Burk Aug. 2, 1948.
    He was preceded in dath by a daughter, Sondra Garner, and a grandson, Dustin Garner.
    Survivors include his wife, Thelma Jean Garrett, of the home;  a granddaughter, April Taylor and husband Chris, Ada;  three great grandchildren, Garret Taylor, Paige Tylor and Lynndie Taylor, all of Ada; and a son-inlaw, Gene Garner, Ada.
    Bearers are Jim Ward, Wayne Willoughby, Sean Lackey, delton Sutton, Toby Wiloughby, Jerry Wilcher, Mike Casady and Ronnie Rowe,  Criswell Funeral Home, Ada
