David Marion PANTIER

1.  The 1850 census records found Nancy Green Armstrong age 82 born NC living with her daughter, Elizabeth age 45 born TN and her husband Edwrd Patten, age 55 born NC and their nine children, p 333 and 333a, Petersburg, Mendard, Illinois.


Robert Clary PANTIER

1.  Toni Hertzler reports that Rober Clary Pantier is her gggrandfather.


Bowling GREENE

1.  Bowling Green Armstrong was a mentor to Abraham Lincoln as he was a judge and was somewhat responsible for introducing Lincoln to the law.  Lincoln lived with Bowling and his wife Nancy Potter during a time Lincoln was in New Salem.

2.  He went by the name Bowling Greene and not Armstrong....looks like a story there....most likely was born out of  wedlock and carried his mother's mailden name of Greene and had several children that carried the Greene name too.


Elijah POTTER

1.  Elijah was most likely born out of wedlock and carried his mother's maiden name Potter.


Oramel Greene Lee PURVINES

1.  Great great granfather of Gerald Smith.
