Ralph BISHOP

Betty Jean CLINGENPEEL

1.  Betty told Stella Lavina McMinn Wilson Corbett that she would like to have the books that this writer presented to her this past Christmas & New Year Holidays, 2002.      [On Tuesday evening on 9 Nov 2004 after viewing at Thos. Shepherd Funeral Directors, she received them, plus a Clingenpeel book from Earl L. Jones]  

2.  Betty reports that she was told that she and Ralph were the first ones to be married in the new Locust Grove Baptist Church.

3.  Betty always had a love for music.   She would sing every chance she got and could play the piano some.   Her Aunt Pauline reported that someone gave her an accordion and oh, the good times the girls had singing and performing with her!

4.  Tiny Starling says that "Betty Bishop's singing is a blessing to me".

Gerald "Honey" WATKINS

1.  Gerald Watkins served his country and was stationed in Alaska.

2.  Gerald had a love for old cars.

3.  He learned the art of banjo picking.

4.  In 1998 he had nine grandchildren and another on the way.

5.  When Justin was about 14 months old, just learning to talk, he heard Grandma Ann call Grandpa Gerald from the garden by yelling , "Honey, supper is ready", and from that day forward he has had the name of "Honey".


Steven WATKINS

1.  Steven was in Saudi Arabia serving in the military in 1990 & 1991.
