Nancy Lee "Nannie" MC MINN

1.  Nannie L. Laughter, 91
    HENDERSONVILLE - Nannie L. Laughter, 91, formerly of 105 South Carolina Ave., died Wednesday, Aug 14, 1991, a Hendersonville Retirement Center following a long illness.
    A lifelong resident of Henderson County, she was the daughter of the late John Lee and Rebecca Clingenpeel McMinn.  She was wife of Robert Columbus "Lum" Laughter, who died in 1977.   She was preceded in death by two sons, John Columbus Laughter and Quay Laughter.  She was a member of Valley Hill Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday school teacher for many years.
     Surviviors include three daughters, Florence R. Thompson of Pulaski, Va., Alta Fowler of Mills River, and Flossie Nelson of Hendersonville;  a son, Roy Bush Laughter of Hendersonville;  two sisters, Ora Kern of Hyattsville, Md., and Osa Salter of Beltsville, Md;  14 grandchildren and nie great-great grandchildren.
    Funeral will be held 2 p.m. Saturday in Shepherd's Church Street Chapel with Dr. Wade Laughter officiating.  Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 7 to 8:30 p.m. today at the funeral home, and at other times will be at the home of Fl.ossie Nelson of 109 South Carolina Ave.  Memorials may be made to Pleasant Hill Cemetery Fund, Box 143, Route 3 Hendersonville, N.C. 28739.
