Richard J. DEAVER

1.  Pat Matthews reports that Nadia Deaver told her that there is a creek named Dix Creek named after Richard and that Nadia's parents still live there.


Ethel Sophronia KUYKENDALL

Mollie H. GRESSETT

1  Mollie lived in Hiclory, Mississippi when her brother, Richard Riley died in 1939 because she is mentioned in his obit.


Bryson "Bryce" KUYKENDALL

1.  During the Civil War, Brice entered the CSA in October 1862 at Cherokee, Alabama in Company "L" of Roddey's 4th Alabama Cavalry Regiment and continued until April 1865 when he was paroled at Pond Springs, Alabama.

2.  He participated in over 100 battles and skirmishes and may have suffered a hip injury from a fall from his horse during this time.

3.  Records indicate that he was forced, as many were after coming home from the war, to accept bankruptcy.  They also show that he lost the Brice Kuykendall home place containing 292 acres, all in Frnklin County, Alabama.

4.  In 1883 Brice moved his family to Arkansas, first to Washing County, then to Crawford County.  They were here for a few years until after Oklahoma statehood in 1907.  About this time he moved to Adair in Mayes County, Oklahhoma where he lived for a number of years.  Martha died October 3, 1899 and Brice died in Collinsville, Oklahoma September 9, 1916.  They are buried at the Tahlequah Cemetery in Tahlequah, Oklahoma.

Jesse Blythe KUYKENDALL

1.  The 1870 Winston County Census lists year of birth as 1843 and name as Samuel B.  This is before his mother and Peter were married.

2.  Marriage in Blount County, Alabama on 12 Aug 1877 or Dec 8.

3.  The 1880 Cullman County, Alabama Census lists the children.


Winfred Green SELF

1.  Winaphord G. Self could have been born in 1855 as per 1870 Winston County Census.


Alpha KUYKENDALL

1.  Alpha was a TWIN to Ralph.


Adellia HONEYWOOD

1.  It is pure speculation that Adellia ? married first a Mr. Green who fathered Winifred.  Then she must have married a Mr. Self who fathered the other five children.
