1.  Information on John's marriages to Blevins and Bennett came from an article published on the Colericks called Prairie Pioneers of Box Butte County by Mae Manion.


SHREVE

1.  Mr. Shreve was an electrician.


Catherine KUYKENDALL

1.  Catherine & Mr. Shreve lived at Goble, Oregon.


Phillip GOODE

1.  Philip Goode was 5' 10" tall, weighed 216#, and was a Methodist.

2.  Phillip was the only married brother when the Samuel Goode family moved to Warren County, Ohio.

3.  He opposed slavery as a great national and social evil, and saw its demoralizing influences, and was unwilling to raise his family in a slave state...thus the move to Ohio.

4.  His dying expression was "My house is ready".


Rebekah HAYES

1.  Rebeckah Goode had 15 slaves as her marriage protion.

2.  Alternate date of marriage:  11 Feb 1793

3.  Rebeckah & Philip removed to Warren County, Ohio in 1805.

4.  Rebeckah was a Methodist over 70 years.
