Ann GREGG

1.  A daughter of Ann Gregg's nephew John (1716-1788), Rebecca Gregg (1758-1822), married Francis Seaton.  Rebecca's daughter Elizabeth (1797-1833) married John A. Cockran (Earl L. Darrah's ancestor on his mother's side).  John's mother, Mehitable "Hitty" Fuller (1767-1843) is in a family tree that has links to most of the royal houses of Europe through the Bowens, Griffiths, Stradlings, and Beauforts.

2.  The chain is Mehitable Fullere, Jacob Fuller (1735), Jacob Fuller (1692), David Fuller (1667-1750), Jonathan Fuller (1643-1707), Sarah Bowen (1634-1676), Richard Bown (1580-1674), Ellen Griffith (1560), John Griffith (Abt 1518), Jane Stradling (1478), Thomas Strading (1448-1480), Henry Stradling (Abt 1425-1450), Jane Beaufort (Abt 1401), Henry Beaufort (Abt 1376-1447), John "Of Gaunt", Prince of England (1339-1398), and Edward III, King of England (1312-1377).


Sarah HOLLINGSWORTH

1.  Hollingsworth Heritage Volume XI No. 1 gives alternate date of birth:  7 Aug 1706:  date of death  Aft 30 Oct 1725: marriage:  29 Aug 1724 at Old Swedes Church, Willmington, Delaware.

2.  Bobby R. Huggins book reports Sarah married a George Martin on 17 Jul 1747, which, cannot be because she died on 8 Sep 1738....and this writer shows her second marriage was to Aaron Harlan March.

3.  www.hollygardens.com lists date of marriage to John Dickson as 29 Aug 1724.


Thomas JACOBS "Sr"

1.  Tom Hollingsworth reports that when Thomas Jacobs married Mary Robinson he presented certificates from Cork, Ireland and Darby, Pennsylvania confirming his membership as a Quaker.

2.  Other researchers give place of birth as Armagh, Armagh, , Ireland.


Mary H. ROBINSON

1.  Bobby R. Huggins book reports Mary & Thomas Jacobs got married in the home of Valentine Hollingsworth, New Castle County, Pennsylvania, (now Delaware).


Joseph HOLLINGSWORTH

1. Alternate place of birth: Amherst, Virginia...or Anson, North Carolina

2. Alternate place of birth: Bush River MM, Newberry, South Carolina.

3. Alternate date & place of death: 1819 Stokes, North Carolina.

4. Received some information from Douglas R. Hollingsworth and "The Hollingsworth Family".

5. Questions about Joseph's marriage(s)?  Doug Hollingsworth shows Mary Matthews, however, THE HOLLINGSWORTHS OF KNOX COUNTY INDIANA lists his first marriage to Mary Simonson and his second marriage to Nancy Simonson.  More research needed here.

6.  Jim Allen reports that A Power of Attorney was granted to Jospeh by Lucinda, Patience, and Barnett Hollingsworth of Monroe County, Mississippi to act on their behalf regarding a tract of land in Know County, Indiana.


Isaac HOLLINGSWORTH "Sr"

1.  Another source shows place of birth as Virginia, and death in New Garden, Guliford, North Carooina


John J. PARKER

1.  Marrage recored of McMinn County, Tennessee.

2.  The 1870 census does not show Lucretia, but does show John J. Parker living in Fricks Gasp, Walker County, Georgia, and also shows a James Parker age 2 in the household.

3.  According to Red Anthony....some of this information came from a Parker descendant, Farris Parker of Texas.

4.  Residence 1870:  Subdivision 128, Walker, Georgia.

5.  Residence 1880:  Pond Spring, Walker, Georgia...Occupation: Blacksmith


Lucretia MC MINN

1.  The marriage records of McMinn County, Tennessee, gives the marriage date of 21 Jan 1845.


George Calvin PARKER

1.  George lived in Walker County, Georgia, Bradley County, Tennessee, and his obituary stated he moved to Arlington, Tarrant County, Texas in 1871, then to Wise County, Texas, in 1890, and on to Clay County, Texas, in 1908.
