Robert Felix MC MINN

1.  Robert & Mary were married in the home of Mary's mother near Rusk, Texas.

2.  Tina Lauderdale Gregg sent the following obituary:  

Robert Franklin McMinn died August 15, 1907 of Typhoid fever.  Born 2/19/1850 in Georgia.  His parents were Felix G. and Elizabeth Johnson McMinn.  Survived  by his wife, the former Mary M. Hudson whom he married on 2/28/1883 at the home of her mother near Rusk, 2 daughters Miss Frankie and Vermie McMinn, a son Robert Hudson McMinn.  He was a prominent citizen living at Noonday. He came from Georgia to Polk County Texas with his parents when he as 4 years old.  Came to Smith County in 1869, settling on a farm purchased from the late John Dewberry, 15 miles South of Tyler on the Palestine Road.  Moved to Noonday 1892.

Felix Alfred MC MINN

1,  Felix Alfred McMinn was reared in he vacinity of Rusk, Texas.

2.  He was a bricklayer and layed the brick for New Birmingham Iron Works.

4.  Emily says she has Felix's obituary and it says his home was near Troupe, Texas and that he was a member of the C. P. Church in Rusk at the time of his death, but it does not say where he was buried.  It says that his wife, nine children, father, and one sister and five brothers survived him.
